Youth Participation Grants
Do you want to consult with young people?
The Youth Participation Grants aim to support youth consultation opportunities that are meaningful and accessible to a diverse range of young people, and that provide appropriate support for participants.
Grants can be used for:
• honorariums for young people involved in the consultation
• travel assistance for young people participating
• accommodation to support regional young people’s
participation
• childcare for young parents
• venue hire (youth friendly / safe environments)
• outside facilitators
• catering
• skill development / training for young people prior to the consultation
• support for diverse groups of young people.
Who can apply?
South Australian government agencies or non-government organisations funded or contracted to deliver services on behalf of government.
Non-government organisations that apply will need to identify and liaise with a state government agency that will auspice the funding on their behalf. The state government agency will be required to enter into a letter of agreement with the Office for Youth.
Grants are for consultations that directly relate to South Australian Youth Action Plan ‘Priority for Action’.
