For parents

South Australia is a national leader in providing community support through organisations based on voluntary support.

The active8 program's focus is on action and challenging opportunities. The participation of a greater number of young people involved in program activities is at the core of the active8 Premier's Youth Challenge program. Young participants can develop individual skills while actively engaging in the training course of a Service Provider program.

Parents are encouraged to join their local community coordination group which meets at the school quarterly to plan the terms activities.
